Calculating percent uninsured - IPUMS MEPS

How do I caluclate the percentage of people uninsured in my sample? I noticed there are variables for many different types of insurance but not for those who are uninsured.

I think you'll find the INSMMX variable helpful. This variable indicates whether the person currently has any health insurance coverage.
