The Tuberculosis Control Branch of the California Department of Public Health would like to use Singrace in its use of 2015 and 2016 ACS data. Does IPUMS create user-defined variables? If so is there a fee? If so what would be turn around time?
It sounds like you are referring to the variable RACESING. At the present time, this variable is not available for the 2015 and 2016 ACS samples. We do hope to make this variable available in the future, but unfortunately I don’t have an accurate forecast of this timeline.
