Imputed earnings in March CPS

Hi again,

I was doing some reading about validations studies using the data available in March CPS. They suggest that after the 2000s, around 28% of the earnings data available in the CPS are imputed (either because only the data of earnings is missing or because the individual resfused to answer the ASEC supplement and therefore, the entire indiividual is "imputed").

However, I cannot find a flag in the March CPS data that indicates which individual has imputed income. Is there such variable?

The paper that I am referring is attached to this message.

Many thanks!
