Is there a way to check whether a census has geocodes i.e. GPS coordinates?

We are looking for GPS coordinates of enumeration areas so that we can interporlate to other surveys with richer water and sanitation data to generate a map.

Answers

No public census data have gps coordinates, to protect the confidentiality of respondents. The smallest units identified in the IPUMS international data have populations of at least 20,000. About half of those second-level geographic area variables have associated shapefiles.
