Is there a crosswalk between OCC1990 and SOC?

Does anyone know if there is a crosswalk available for converting the OCC1990 variable in the CPS data to Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) 2010? I am trying to match current O*Net data to CPS occupational data from 1999-2014.

Thanks for any help or advice!

I don't know of an OCC1990 to SOC 2010 crosswalk, but you may be able to generate one yourself using the March 2011. First, create an extract of the 2011 March Supplement, including the OCC andOCC1990 variables. Using that extract, keep one case for every unique OCC1990 code. This will give you a crosswalk between OCC and OCC1990. You can then use Appendix B of the March 2011 codebook to create a crosswalk between the 2011 version of OCC and the 2010 SOC codes. Then, using OCC as a bridge, you can create the crosswalk between OCC1990 and SOC 2010.

I hope this helps.
