Is everyone in the household answer the ACS survey?

Hi IPUMS staffs,

Can you explain how the ACS interview is conducted? Is everyone in the household answered the question (i.e., education, income), or there is only one person answers all questions for other people live in the house?

In general, one person answers the ACS survey but does so for each person in the household. You can read the exact instructions, in this case for the 2016 ACS survey, by reading the ACS guide.
