Is it possible to identify living centenarians within a specific state in the US using your site?
After 1970, the maximum age available in IPUMS USA is in the high 90s. However, if you are interested in some historical data, you could identify individuals who were over 100 years old at the time of the census.
Similarly, age data is top coded in IPUMS CPS: for 2004 onward, 80-84 is coded as 80 and 85+ is coded as 85.
The Census appears to have some data (in a report format) from 2010 available – just scanning the report quickly, it looks like there are counts of individuals over 100 by state included.
