Looking for mortality data, anything that is available and globally, specifically on cause of death (influenza).
I’m afraid IPUMS doesn’t have the data you are looking for. IPUMS Health Surveys has mortality variables for the US, but only back into the 1980’s. IPUMS USA has data dating back to 1910 and 1920, but no variables indicating mortality. Finally, IPUMS International has mortality variables in a limited number of samples, but again these samples are more recent than 1910 or 1920.
