Is there a multirace bridging variable for CPS SAS users?

I need to compare CPS March 1997 and 2017 Race-Ethnicity (Hispanic, Black, Other) by Age (18,19,20,21,22,23), Gender, and Educational Attainment.

Unfortunately, prior to 2003, the categories available for the RACE variable are limited. Comparability across all years prior to 2003 can be achieved by combining all codes except “white” and " xxxx /black" into a single “other” category.
