JTOCC code 9990

How should I interpret a value of 9990 for the JTOCC variable? This isn't a valid occupation code and it's not clear from the documentation what it means. It seems to be a "don't know" or similar code.

Yes, the value 9990 represents "no response", so treat it as you would JTOCC==9997. Thanks for pointing this out, as it is certainly confusing. We will get this cleaned up in one of the forthcoming CPS data releases.
