MIGSTA1 and MIGSTA5 variables have the same case counts for CPS 1995

Hello,

We are looking at migration flows between census regions, and we noticed that MIGSTA1 and MIGSTA5 variables are same for 1995. We assume both variables provide the MIGSTA5 values and wondering if MIGSTA1 variable is available for 1995?

Thanks

This seems to be a minor error in the IPUMS system. It seems the same source variable is linked to both the MIGSTA1 and MIGSTA5 variables in 1995. The IPUMS CPS Team is currently working to fix this issue and will try to make both variables available soon.
