Need help getting extract for SPSS on a Mac.

I go through the instructions, and when I get to "Run --> All", nothing shows up in the data window. Is there a resolution for this? Am I doing something wrong?

I am unable to replicate your issue. I successfully ran the .sps command file for your data extract #8. The data correctly displayed in the SPSS data editor. Make sure that you edited the `cd` command to specify the path to the directory on your computer where your IPUMS data file is located, such as: cd "Y:\Documents\IPUMS_data". If you leave the cd command blank, then the data will not be read in to SPSS. You should also check for any errors in your Output log.

I hope this helps! If you continue to have issues, please email ipums@umn.edu for further assistance.
