Posting an IPUMS extract to a Journal's Data Repository?

Hi,

My research team recently got a manuscript accepted at Demographic Research, based on a data extract from IPUMS-CPS. Demographic Research requires that authors post their data extract and any realted .do files to their repository for replication purposes. How does IPUMS feel about this and is there any guidlines IPUMS would like for me to follow? Is it okay to post a "raw" extract straight from IPUMS, do you perfer it be altered in anyway first?

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks for checking in with us. It is okay for you to post the "raw" extract data and replication code on the journal's data repository. There are no additional alterations that are necessary.
