Simple Question? Race and Occupation

I am hoping to generate a table that lists occupational categories for different racial groups (African Americans, in particular), using the 2010 Census or more recent ACS data. Is that possible? If so, can someone walk me through this? I'm relatively new to this.

I would recommend starting by watching the quick tutorial on how to use the Online Data Analysis Tool (also known as the SDA). The variables you would be interested in in this case are OCC1950 (for occupations) and RACE. I would also recommend reading through the first few FAQs, especially the Getting Started, Basic Concepts, and Using IPUMS Data sections as they explain a lot of the common pitfalls and describe the format of the data and how to work with the data.
