The food security module has been administered every year since 1995, and there is documentation on IPUMS about this. However on the variable query screen, I only see “x” for year 2016. Is that the only year available?
All food security supplement samples from 1995 through 2016 are available via IPUMS CPS. If you go to the Select Samples page and click the “Supplement Topics” Tab, you will see an additional category for the food security supplement. This will allow you to select all of the food security supplement samples all at once. It may also be helpful to deselect the “All Default samples” radio button on the top of the Select Samples page.
