It appears that the RACESING variable has not yet been calculated for the 2015 ACS. Will it be added, and when?
Can we create it ourselves using the “race bridge” Stata code in the variable description (https://usa.ipums.org/usa/resources/v…), or is that code out of date?

The RACESING variable is currently not available in the 2015 ACS sample. Although we will be releasing this variable sometime down the road, no specific plans are made yet and I am not able to provide an accurate estimate of a specific release date. In the meantime, you can replicate RACESING with the 2015 ACS sample using the “race bridge” STATA code you’ve highlighted.
