are households and persons matched? e.g. would there be a way to match pubhous (household) with labforce (person)?

I am seeking to do an analysis on the employment status of persons with a variety of subsidies recevied; the variables for the subsidies are household variables while laborforce and employment status are person variables. After variables are selected and extracted is there a way to match a person to their household to analyze these variables together?

By default, the extract system for IPUMS-USA rectangularizes the data: that is, it puts household information on the person records and does not retain the households as separate records. In other words, yes, respondents will be matched to households in your data extract.
