variables with different sample weights

this is a follow-up question. How do I analyze (using STATA) if I want to analyze variables in NHIS w/ different weights?

Since you can only apply one weight at a time, your primary variable of interest should dictate which weight you apply. Depending on the type of analysis, you will generally want to weight your records based on the dependent variable.

I hope this helps!
